Hope-Beckham, Inc. is currently accepting applications for the following positions:

 

Account Executive

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

– Provide day-to-day contact for client
– Write media alerts, pitches and press releases
– Pitch media and coordinate media interviews
– Develop and implement external social media plans
– Develop and maintain media lists
– Track and prepare media coverage reports 
– Coordinate and handle logistics for client events 
– Participate in brainstorming meetings, initiatives and activities
– Contribute to the development and implementation of PR plans
– Contribute to the development of new business proposals

 

 

Required skills:

– Excellent verbal and written communications skills (fluency in Spanish is a plus)
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
– Highly organized and ability to multitask 
– Knowledge and use of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)

Qualifications:

– College degree in public relations, marketing, journalism or other relevant field of study
– 3-4 years experience in PR industry

Public Relations Intern

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

– Write press releases, media alerts, pitches and blogs
– Develop and maintain media lists
– Pitch media and coordinate media interviews
– Work with the social media team to develop and implement social media plans for clients and HBI
– Track and create media coverage reports for clients
– Participate in Zoom meetings with clients
– Participate in brainstorming meetings, initiatives and activities 
– Post client event information to online calendar/event postings 
– Basic administrative tasks

 

Required skills:

– Pursuing a degree or recent graduate in Public Relations, Journalism or other relevant field of study
– Knowledge of Spanish preferred but not a must
– Strong knowledge and use of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
– Great verbal and written communication skills 
– Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
– Assertive with a “can do” attitude to work independently as well as be a team player
